Delete Buukilino Account & Data
At Buukilino, you and your children maintain complete control over your data. You can request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated data at any time directly in the app or via the form below.
Option 1: Directly inside the Buukilino App (Instant)
The fastest way to achieve complete account deletion:
- Open the Buukilino App on your device.
- Tap your Profile avatar or open Settings.
- Select “Delete Account”.
- Confirm the security prompt.
Option 2: Request deletion via Web Form
If you no longer have access to the app or your device, please fill out this form:
What data gets removed upon deletion?
In accordance with the GDPR and Apple / Google Play account deletion guidelines, confirming this request completely removes the following data from our production database and cloud storage:
- 👤 Profile & Account: Username, display name, encrypted password hash, avatar and color preferences. (Note: Buukilino child accounts are designed with data minimization in mind and do not require email addresses.)
- 📖 Friendship Book Entries: All answers, drawings, and dedications across all friendship books.
- 🎙️ Voice Notes & Audio: All uploaded voice recordings and audio memos are permanently wiped from the server.
- 🎮 Games & Leaderboards: Game scores and match histories in Memory, Categories, Tic-Tac-Toe, Math, and Word challenges.
- 🤝 Friendships & Connections: All links to other users and invite codes are dissolved.
⏱️ Processing Time & Confirmation
When deleting directly inside the app, the process is instantaneous. For requests submitted via the web form or email, our team verifies and executes the deletion within a maximum of 48 hours. You will receive a confirmation message at the email address provided.
